Triangles

I used three coats of Revlon's Pink Ice; I could have gotten away with two, but the polish got a bit nicked and faded. I went in with a stripper brush and Sinful Colors' Heavy Metal to paint on triangles. The pointer finger warped after I hit it against something. tears. I think it's cute besides that!

Floral Splash

I've been sick for the past three days, here's the bare minimal on the details.

I only used one coat of Sinful Colors' Cool Gray - I really smooth light gray that works with spring and summer colors. I then used acrylics to paint flowers on my nails. I applied a top coat before using my stripper to apply Sally Hansen's Mellow Yellow onto the sides of all of my nails in a slight curve. I coats varied, some only took two, others with dark blue underneath needed three. NYC's Matte Me Crazy to finish it.

Dripping Paint

I've been getting tired of the generic font "Gabriola" that I've been using as my label, so I made myself download some neat fonts today. I picked out two Gothic ones that reminded me of the Queen of Hearts and Alice and Wonderland, and I finally feel satisfied! Do you think it works?

Nail time! I used two coats of wet n wild's Black Crรจme. I then used a coat of NYC's Matte
Me Crazy to make the nails look like mini chalkboards. I used a stencil that looks like dripping paint on the tips of each nail in Sinful Colors polishes.

Thumb: Cross My Heart

Ring: Amethyst
Pinky: Firefly

I didn't use a top coat this time because the matte on the black would have been ruined

Purple Scales

I used two coats of wet n wild's Buffy the Violet Slayer which is a classic purple that I never tire of. I decided to use a stencil for the first time that came with my Sally Hansen dotting tool along with two brushes - the stencil I used is shown below. I used wet n wild's Metallica for the stencil color on top of Buffy the Violet Slayer.
I used a make up sponge to dab on Metallica. Occasionally I didn't dab off enough polish, so I had too much polish on my sponge. It ended up seeping underneath the stencil, making the diamonds blurry. I had to do touch ups when I was done: filling in a few sliver diamonds to make them darker, repainting the purple in between the diamonds.

On my ring finger, I did a sliver to purple gradient with the same make up sponge. Clear coat!
